Zhang Maosheng-english-西北地调

Zhang Maosheng, born in 1962, China, worked as chief geologist of field geological technology in the Shaanxi-No.2 hydrology brigade of Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources Exploration from 1983 to2003. Since 2003, he has been working as director and project manager in department of hydrology and environment geology in Xi’an Center of Geological Survey, CGS. He undertook many important projects in ecological hydrology and mitigation and survey on landslide hazard risks. So far, he has obtained five achievement awards, including a first prize of excellent engineering investigation, one second prize of engineering prospecting and two third prizes of geological prospecting achievements from the former ministry of geology and minerals resources, one second prize of science and technology progress from the ministry of land and resources P.R.C. Now, he is responsible for these projects: ①.Study on the Response of Ecological Environment to Resources Development in the Energy Resources and Chemical Industry Base of Northern ,Shaanxi；②.Research on countermeasure of the sustained uses of water resources in Energy and Chemical Base in northern Shaanxi；③.Groundwater investigation in Energy and Chemical Base in northern Shaanxi；④.Detailed Survey of Geological Hazard in Loess Plateau of Northwest China.

He has published over 30 academic articles in formal issue of the journal. The main representative articles are as follows:
